Rob
Robson, Director
Dr.
Robson is a negotiator / mediator who completed his mediation training
at the Harvard Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. He has a wealth
of experience negotiating and mediating medical matters in both
the private and public sectors. Dr. Robson also acted as a
volunteer mediator with the Dispute Resolution Centre for Ottawa-Carleton
(DRCOC) while the program was still active.
During the
course of his career, Dr. Robson has delivered over 500 lectures,
seminars and training sessions to various medical groups in both
English and French.
Dr. Robson is
a founding partner with mediate.calm,
and is well-versed in the subject of negotiation and mediation.
He brings to the field a wide variety of skills and a great deal
of creativity in assisting people to resolve matters outside of
the courtroom.

Ambrose
Hearn, Dispute Resolution Consultant
Mr.
Hearn trained as a negotiator/mediator through the University of
Windsor Law School, and has coached workshops in ADR with Stitt
Feld Handy Houston ADR Inc. of Toronto ON. He
has an extensive background in Health Care Administration in Canada,
extending over more than 25 years. His most recent position (1999-2003)
was President and CEO of VON Canada, a national non-profit community
health care organization. From 1993-1998, he held the position of
President and CEO of the Ottawa Civic Hospital, a major teaching
hospital in the Nation's Capital. Previously, he was CEO of the
Canadian Council of Health Services Accreditation (1987-1993), the
national organization that sets standards for and accredits health
care organizations. During the period 1981-1987, Mr. Hearn was the
Deputy Minister of Health for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Over
the last five years, Mr. Hearn has been a regular lecturer in the
education program "Orientation of the New Hospital Trustee" and
"The Role of the Board Chair" sponsored by the Ontario Hospital
Association.

Lori
Williams,
Dispute Resolution Consultant
Ms
Williams is a lawyer, mediator and facilitator in Vancouver, BC.
She has experience in conflict resolution in small claims matters,
organizational and employee disputes, personal injury and insurance
matters. Ms Williams has also assisted in training at several
mediation courses offered by the Law Society of BC through Continuing
Legal Education.
Ms Williams practiced law in Vancouver for 12 years
before moving into the field of conflict resolution. Her areas of
specialty included medical malpractice / physician defence, insurance
and employment. She obtained her Certificate in Conflict Resolution
from the Justice Institute of BC, and is a member of the B.C. Mediators'
Roster (Civil).
